In ProSearch, you can select and export your results in several different ways. The following instructions will help you send selected search results to your RefWorks account. printer-friendly version

1. At the top of the home page, type your search topic into the ProSearch search box. Click for image
2. Initial results appear instantly as each collection is queried, so you can review your search results almost instantly. Click on the plus (+) icon to select any articles that interest you. Click for image
3. After you finish selecting articles, go to My Selections. Click for image
4. Here you can review your selections and deselect any articles that you don’t need by clicking the minus (-) icon. Click for image
5. When you are ready to export your selections, click on the "Send to RefWorks" button on the left of the screen. RefWorks will load in a new browser window.

6. If you’re not already logged into your RefWorks account, you’ll be prompted to enter your username and password. If you need to, you also have the opportunity to create a new RefWorks account.
7. In RefWorks the citations will be located in the Last Imported folder. View the Last Imported folder. You can create a folder for your selections or use an existing folder. Select “All in list” under References to Use, and move them into your folder.

8. Return to ProSearch and click Clear Selection to delete your selections.
