Library and Electronic Resources Access for the TMC Community

Within the Library
All resources are available to any TMC user carrying a current TMC institutional badge, and to outside visitors and TMC non-registered users who stop at the Circulation desk to be issued a pass.

From Outside
Resources available remotely vary according to user type (see below) and are governed by the terms of The TMC Library's electronic resource licenses. You must be registered for online access. For most users, to register, be verified, and receive your access code requires only a few minutes of your time. Resources must be accessed using your library log-in.

Note: If you are affiliated with more than one TMC institution, register with your academic email address for full access to electronic resources.

Open-Access Electronic Journals Here are three ways to explore free articles via The TMC Library’s website:

  • In the Databases list, click the resource type, Open access Journal. This will bring you to a list of accessible e-journal collections. See descriptions for detailed information. Visit collection sites to discover the kinds of topics and articles available in each
  • The Online Journals & Books page offers search by title or title word, medical subject heading, or collection

A broad range of material useful for faculty and researchers, students and consumers is available. In some cases not all content is free, and in others full access may require free registration.
