The Information Services Division is responsible for several different library service areas:
Information Desk Staff Changes
Beginning January 16, 2007 the Information Services desk and the Circulation desk will merge. All questions will be answered by the Circulation staff. Librarians will be on call to handle computer search requests, database training, PubMed search strategy consultation, access to electronic resources, use of library resources, or how to start your research while you are in the Library.

All public relations, including publicizing library events and services, responding to comments and complaints and networking with the Texas Medical Center and Houston media are coordinated through our Assistant Director for Public Affairs.

The HAM-TMC Library Consumer Health Information program with an extensive book collection, full-text databases, and a Consumer Health Information Librarian is open to the public. Interested consumers can obtain a library card to check out items from the Jesse H. Jones Community Health Information Service collection.
