New Look, Same Content-Changes to the Library Catalog

Beginning March 1, the Library catalog will take on a new look. Users accessing the Catalog via the HAM-TMC Library webpage http://resource.library.tmc.edu/

will notice that the webpage “brand” is also displayed in the Library catalog. This change will affect the Catalog’s look. Menus, search functions and content will primarily remain the same.

The opening page of the Catalog will also include new options for checking the status of books already borrowed, linking to the e-journal, e-book and database lists, or accessing the Texas Health Science Consortium information page. http://thslc.mdacc.tmc.edu:10030/

Exam Master OnLine for USMLE Preparation

Exam Master OnLine is now available via a single web gateway and the number of users who can access this system has been increased. If you previously had an Exam Master account, you have been transferred to the new web gateway already but your prior exam history is no longer available.

This resource is available at the educational level via remote access.

HAM-TMC Library Selected to Host Changing the Face of Medicine Exhibit

The National Library of Medicine, in collaboration with the American Library Association, has selected the HAM-TMC Library as one of 60 libraries in the United States to host the exhibit, Changing the Face of Medicine. The exhibit features the lives and achievements of women physicians and their contributions and challenges during medical school.

Check the Library web site for future announcements about the exhibit.
