Dr. W. Walter Menninger to Speak at the Library Conference:

The 8th Annual Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library Conference will be held on May 18, 2004 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Kleberg Auditorium, Baylor College of Medicine.

Library to Host Depression Exhibit in May and June:

The HAM-TMC Library will host the exhibit Depression: More than Just the Blues

created by the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science in May and June. A reception highlighting the exhibit will be held on May 18, 2004 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the Street Level area of the Library. Everyone is invited.

The National Library of Medicine to Redesign Its Web Page:

The National Library of Medicine will be releasing a new designed and modified organizational structure for its main Web site, on May 10, 2004. These changes are a result of extensive usability testing and consumer feedback.
