Reference Questions

We can help you with general information or in-depth research questions. Stop by the Reference Desk for one-on-one help:

Online Literature Searching (fee-based service)

Allow one of our medical librarians to conduct a literature search on a medical topic or verify a list of citations for your research. Average turn-around time is two business days per request. Rush requests for literature searches needed within 24 hours require an additional $10 per search. Call 713.799.7162 for additional information.

Education

Our classes teach research skills, the effective use of databases or other information resources, and various internet/software technologies. Topics include PubMed, Evidence Based Health Care, Excel, PowerPoint, and many more. We can also create customized classes to fill your specific information needs and accommodate your schedule.
