The HAM-TMC Library Loansome Doc service allows you to electronically request articles via the PubMed (MEDLINE) database or the NLM Gateway. You must pre-register in order to use Loansome Doc. Only non-returnables (i.e., journal articles, book chapters or conference papers) can be requested through Loansome Doc.

Cardholders and Non-Cardholders alike are welcome to use the Loansome Doc service. There are fees associated with Loansome Doc.
View the latest fee schedule. Rates, terms and conditions are subject to change by the HAM-TMC Library. At least thirty (30) days' notice will be given prior to the effective date of any changes.
Loansome Doc users will be invoiced for services rendered. Payment must me made within thirty (30) days of the date of the invoice.
Our standard turnaround time for Loansome Doc requests is 2-4 days. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

The Photocopy/Interlibrary Loan Department at HAM-TMC Library adheres to the required provisions of US Copryight Law. Please carefully read the copyright statement on the Loansome Doc Registration Form. For more information on copyright, visit the US Copyright Office or the Copyright Clearance Center websites.
You must pre-register for the Loansome Doc service before you can begin placing requests. All Loansome Doc requests must be submitted through PubMed or the NLM Gateway.
To order documents using PubMed, perform a search and select the desired citations by clicking the check box to the left of each citation. When you have finished marking your selections, click the ORDER button, or temporarily save your selections to the Clipboard by clicking "Add to Clipboard" on the PubMed features bar. The full-text of articles for some journals are available via a link to the publisher's Web site from the PubMed Abstract or Citation display. If you see "LinkOut" on a citation, click on this feature for additional options. To order documents using the NLM Gateway, perform a search and select the desired citations by clicking the check box to the left of each citation. When you have finished marking your selections, click the "Order Documents" button, or save your selections to the Locker by clicking "Put in Locker" on the Gateway Results page.
