Harris County Public Library Pick-up
It’s not always easy navigating the area around the Texas Medical Center (TMC), so Harris County Public Library (HCPL) and The TMC Library hope to reduce daily stress for those who work or seek treatment in the TMC with the availability of public library items for pick-up and browsing in The TMC Library.
In a partnershp that began in January, 2012, HCPL materials are now available for convenient pickup at The TMC Library. Simply select the materials you want in the HCPL catalog, place a request using your library card, select TMC as the pickup location and the items will be delivered to The TMC Library. Once your items arrive, you will receive a notification by email or phone and have one week to pick them up. If you would just like to browse, the library has a small collection of books for adults, children and teens available on site. If you don’t currently have a HCPL library card, you can apply for one online or in person at The TMC Library.
