With the upgrades, changes, and updates to The TMC Library's website, there have been a few questions. Here you will find answers to some common questions.
You may need to update your bookmarks to the new pages, as the structure of the site has changed.

The “Search 10” search box is now the TMC ProSearch box, which can be found on the header of all of the library’s webpages.
ProSearch allows you to search up to 27 databases simultaneously, including the TMC catalog and e-journals. The Advanced Search feature allows you to easily narrow your search by selecting specific databases and fields. Click here to learn more about TMCProSearch.
You can access a number of commonly used databases by selecting “Major Databases” under the TMC Library Links menu on the left-side of the homepage. This menu also has a quick link to PubMed.
You can find links to access our complete collection of databases by clicking “Find Library Materials” and selecting “Databases.”
You can find the tutorials on the Ask A Librarian Page, which you can find on the TMC Library Links menu on the left-side of the homepage, or on the homepage’s drop-down menu.
You can look up and browse what electronic and shelved journals we have using our Journals/eJournals List, which you can find by clicking on “Find Library Materials” under the TMC Library Links menu on the left-side of the homepage.
If you are looking for a specific article via the list, you can use Citation Linker.
Library users from different institutions have access to different resources. To check which resources you have access to, click on the “eResource Access Login” under "My Library Account" in the NavBar. You can also check which databases you have access to by visiting our databases page and then selecting your institution from the drop-down menu.
Anyone (including members of the public and users from any institution) is welcome to visit the library and have access to all of our resources. In order to do so, you must first come to the circulation desk and ask for complete access.
