On February 13, 2012, The Texas Medical Center Library and The National Network of Libraries of Medicine, South Central Region (SCR) hosted Understanding E-Science: A Symposium for Medical Librarians at the Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center. This symposium introduced librarians to the concept of eScience, examined potential roles for medical librarians and provided a forum for the development of future collaborations with researchers.
