Location
The HAM-TMC Library is located in the Jesse H. Jones Library Building in the Texas Medical Center. The street address of the Library is 1133 John Freeman Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77030. TMC Map

Directions to the Library
Important Notes:
- The METRORail runs on Fannin Street. The trains always have the right-of-way, so be sure to be aware of all the METRO signals, which note approaching trains.
- Pedestrians in crosswalks have the right-of-way in the TMC.
- Many people also ride bicycles, which are required to follow all traffic regulations, but often do not.
Directions to the Historical Research Center
Parking
In front of the HAM-TMC Library are a few short-term (20 minute) parking spots. Beneath the HAM-TMC Library is Garage 3, which can be entered from Bertner Street (east side of library building). Both the short-term parking and Garage 3 are often full. The next-closest parking is in Garage 4. Located one-and-a-half blocks from the HAM-TMC Library, Garage 4 has entrances on both McGregor St. and Ross Sterling St. The Texas Medical Center (TMC) controls the Garages 3 and 4, as well as the short-term parking under the library building. Access for the Disabled
Parking for the disabled is available on the circular drive in front of the Library and in the parking garage. An elevator in the parking garage provides access to the Library via the 3rd floor crossover. (Please note that this garage elevator does not run on weekends.)
Front-Door Access
The elevator to the left of the front-door stairs makes the front door
wheelchair accessible. Ring bell for assistance. An elevator inside
the library provides access to the lower level, 1st and 2nd floors.
